The Manager of the Recreation Therapy Department is responsible for supervision of the Activity Therapists and for the development of the programming related to Activity Therapy, providing age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups and establishing behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Pavilion. Hours vary based on staffing and patient needs and include day, evening and weekend shifts. The Director of the Recreation Therapy Department supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups. One year of supervisory experience required. Experience: Four years experience in Recreational Therapy field working with a mental health population, prior supervisory experience and program development required. Prefer knowledge of group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management. Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Recreational Therapy Specialist (CRTS) licensure/certification required. xxxx00
