We are seeking a supportive and result-oriented individual to become a valuable member of the Hastings Information Technology (IT) Department. Responsibilities: Analyzing user needs by phone Training users by phone Answering email and processing internet returns Ensuring the operations of equipment Resolving problems and providing corrective instructions High School Diploma/GED Basic knowledge of computer operations (Technical training, technical college experience and/or experience with computer related courses is considered a PLUS!) Minimum typing skills 40 wpm preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office required Hands on experience with hardware considered a plus Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux/SQL considered a plus Must be punctual with professional telephone etiquette Strong desire to excel in the field of computers Must be able to handle several things at once and enjoy a fast-paced environment Strong communications skills Effective problem solving skills Requires OPEN availability for multiple shifts ranging from open at 6:00 AM to close at 5 PM.
